The grandfather, Rabbi Shlomo Moussaieff, who immigrated to Jerusalem from Bukhara, began a tradition of entrepreneurship within his family. Moussaieff took upon himself the goal of revitalizing the lands of Jerusalem, notably building the Bukharim Quarter, where he established the renowned Moussaieff Synagogue.
Between the years 1890-1920, Moussaieff purchased additional land in Jerusalem, where today stand the Kerem Shlomo neighborhood, the central bus station, and the Talpiot neighborhood. This tradition, initiated by the grandfather, was passed down through the generations, and carried forward to form a bridge to the future. Today, the family continues the legacy of land development with projects in various cities.
